Greenbrae is less than 15 miles from San Francisco and offers a great combination of nature and community as one of Marin’s first ‘master planned’ communities developed in the 1960s-1970s.
Greenbrae does not offer a formal downtown, but the Bon Air Shopping Center acts as the central hub offering gourmet grocery stores like Mollie Stones, bakeries like Susie Cakes, Pilates, Orange Theory and yoga studios, along with more restaurants and retail shops.
Greenbrae also enjoys a warmer climate as it’s less vulnerable to residual fog coming in and out of the Bay in the summertime. Homes are mostly located in the rolling hills along manicured streets which offers lovely views of the Bay or natural landscape.
Greenbrae is part of the Kentfield School District and residents attend Bacich Elementary School and then Kent Middle School. For further information about Kentfield’s schools: Kentfield School District.
